Honeycomb core panels are commonly used in industry as lightweight structures. However, because the bond between face plate and regular hexagonal is weak, there strength problems, such heat shear loads. In this study, a new cubic panel was developed an alternative to honeycomb panel. Unlike conventional panels, cores can be processed from single flat by punching bending. Through square contact area core, double-bond integral structure assembled using glue rebates.
